Gábor Magyari-Köpe was born in 1973 in Brasov, Transylvania.
He completed his university studies at the Protestant Theological Institute in Cluj, Romania.

- Between 1998 – 2000 he was the Assistant Pastor of the of Hungarian Protestant Community in Sweden.
- Between 2000 – 2003 he was the Second Pastor of the Hungarian Protestant Community in Sweden.
- Between 2003 – 2019 he was the Pastor of the Hungarian Reformed Church of San Francisco and Vicinity.
- Between 2016 – 2019 he was the Dean of the Western Classis of the Hungarian Reformed Church in America.
- Between 2019 – 2020 he was the Pastor of the First Hungarian United Church of Christ of Miami.
- On October 1, 2021, he was re-elected as Pastor of the Hungarian Reformed Church of San Francisco and Vicinity.
Rev. Gábor Magyari-Köpe is married and the father of two children.
